For A Life Worth Celebrating

April Showers and May Flowers

Signature JewelryKeith Field

“April showers bring May Flowers” rings true for the designers and makers as well as our garden beds. These long winters and rainy days are great opportunities to create new ideas and make the beautiful jewelry.

Ginkgo leaves are not only beautiful in their form and structure, but are celebrated symbols of hope, strength, and resilience. A perfect pairing with spring!

We have the privilege to be one of the few retailers that offer Jayne Redman’s work. If you enjoy making jewelry yourself, you should consider attending one of her workshops.

“Nature provides an endless reference for imagination and invention. The linear quality of stems and the fullness of flower buds inspire my jewelry. I enjoy integrating mechanics with design, allowing each piece to function in a visually intriguing way. I work with multiples of the same shape engineering them to fit precisely giving an abstract impression of their botanical origin. Many years of metalsmithing have taught me the power of simplicity. My forms begin as flat metal shapes and arrive as small sculptures. Their complexity is in their conception as curving planes of origami.”   -Jayne Redman
